      <p>I've got a cold, but just because I'm feeling&nbsp;under the weather, that&nbsp;doesn't mean I can't watch some sick (as in ill) comedy.&nbsp; I asked <a href="http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/chilarious/2009/11/coles-open-mic-poster-drawn-by-comic-adam-burke.html#more"><b>Adam Burke</b></a>, <b><a href="http://www.chicagonow.com/blogs/chilarious/2009/07/elizabeth-mcquern-birthday-girlpillar-of-chicago-comedy.html">Elizabeth McQuern</a></b>, and <b><a href="http://bryanchampbowden.blogspot.com/">Bryan Bowden</a></b> to suggest their favorite sick day videos.&nbsp; Here are their prescriptions for a feel better Youtube adventure:</p><p><br /></p>
<b>Adam Burke</b> recommends investing the time to "watch all 20 episodes of of Maria Bamford's brilliant 'Maria Bamford
Show' that she made for Super Deluxe."&nbsp; I couldn't agree more (nor could Elizabeth McQuern).&nbsp; The episodes are all less than five minutes and packed to the gill with jokeage.&nbsp; You'll be artistically inspired and you'll laugh out some of that pesky mucous.<br /><br />Start with Episode 1:<br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/yFHmNrxkuFU&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/yFHmNrxkuFU&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></object>

<br /><br /> <b>Elizabeth McQuern</b> suggests that you go the way of " weird cartoony stuff like Brad Neely."&nbsp; I won't ever require convincing when it comes to watching cartoons, and I hadn't watched Brad's stuff in a while.&nbsp; Definitely worth the revisiting.&nbsp; <br /><br />Case in point, George Washington:<br />&nbsp; <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/_0c06OWonD4&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/_0c06OWonD4&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></object><br /><br />And finally, <b>Bryan Bowden</b> had the most diverse taste.&nbsp; He passed along some <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWFsDEuyDrQ">Beavis and Butthead</a>, a few low-budget rap videos that rocked it, including this one from <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HmJbJs-9ST0">Sudanese rapper Bangs</a>, and this link to a Korean ice cream bar commercial that mesmerized the crap out of me.&nbsp; What is going on here?&nbsp; Why is she smacking her own butt?&nbsp; Be amazed.&nbsp; And get well soon!<br /><br /><object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WAUdsKAkeK0&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always" /><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WAUdsKAkeK0&amp;hl=en_US&amp;fs=1&amp;" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></object>
