I am the Supervising Producer on this blog and for the show. Ratings make me happy, so watch Sundays @ 10 p.m. on WGN-TV.

We love Italian food. So we put Little Italy on the short list of neighborhoods we needed to check out 1st.the 'hood is great with a ton of great Italian options, but in Little Italy it is really about people. It seemed like everyone knew everyone. People chatting each other up in front of shop, music in the park and students walking back from class @ UIC. The neighborhood is really great & these two spots we checked out are a huge part of it.

Conte di Savoia
1438 W. Taylor
312.666.3471
Order it: Any of their sub sandwiches

Original Ferarra Bakery
2210 W. Taylor
312.666.2200
Order it: Their handmade thin crust pizza

What is your fave neighborhood? Tell us why and where and we might put you in the show.
