White Sox Fan: Enormous Belly, Tremendous Dance Moves

Some guy woke up, put on his kid's Beckham shirt, went to the Sox game and had a tremendous time.

This is why sporting events are awesome. Even if the game is out of hand, there is food, music and fans that dance like this. Are you not entertained? I was. Tip of the hat to that dude and the cats at Guyism.

World's Biggest Mark Buehrle Fan?

This could be the world's biggest Mark Buehrle fan, but not necessarily for his baseball skills.

kim-buehrle.jpg

The bad news for her is that Buehrle is married with 2 children. Oh well, at least she'll get to watch Buerhle and the Chicago White Sox dominate the AL Central this year! EE-YESSSSS!!!

Ozzie Guillen: Eatin' Jello and Watching the Super Bowl

Super Bowl XLV was a good game, even if the outcome disappointed many Chicagoans. The Green Bay Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers 31-25, and you know Bears fans will be hearing about it forever.

But at least there's some enjoyment for us on the day after. Ozzie Guillen tweeted this pic last night during the game, and you might as well make this your new desktop background. It's all kinds of awesome.

ozzie jello.jpg

The caption of the pic: "Watching the game and eating my jello." That's a lot of jello. But Jello on Super Bowl Sunday? Jello? That's your big Super Bowl indulgence?

Anyway, Ozzie looks like he is going to be an awesome old man.

US Cellular Field, Front Snow Seats

Here's a pic that Southpaw posted on his Twitter page. It's US Cellular seats covered in snow from the Blizzard/Snowmageddon/Death Storm. That's why I called it Front Snow Seats. Get it? Yeah, it's not very good.

Oney Guillen Rips Bobby Jenks on Twitter

Bobby Jenks
You have to say that with Oney Guillen, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Dude knows how to call someone out. Check out what he did to Bobby Jenks on Twitter.

hahah memo to bobby jenks get a clue u drink to much and u have had marital problems hugeee ones and the sox stood behind u

they did not air out ur dirty laundry, u came to srping not drinking and then u sucked and started srinking again be a man

be a man and tell the manager or the coaching staff how u feel or the organization when u were with the sox not when u leave

u cried in the managers office bc u have problems now u go and talk bad about the sox after they protected u for 7 years ungrateful

if it wasnt for u and mainly u freddy garcia would have like 17 wins and the sox would have beat the twins

and u self diagnosed urself bc u didnt want to pitch un real i hope the sox let this guiy f---ing have it

oh and yes i remember clearly u blowing a hugee game in 09 and u laughing ur bearded ass off while everyone busting there tail

i thought u were a man not some punk who runs away and talks bulls--t. u coward. say it to there face when u were with them

dont make me air out more then i have 2 say ur sorry dont disrespect the White sox ever

now u know what piece of s--t person u rooted for chicago. the ones that leave and talk bad about ur team

and u say the manager didnt trust u? he kept putting ur fat ass there and u kept blowing it, he never took u away from that role unreal

go read it its a scott merkin piece its a dandy, i hope people say what they really feel instead of me

although it wouldnt surprise me if the sox take the high road and be classy instead of destroying this yellow beard dipping idiot

and to think u were actually a cool guy and ur word meant something, to bad u dont hit in the AL so they can drill that ass

one little story remember when u couldnt handle ur drinking and u hit a poor arizona clubby in the face i do. and later u covered it with

Im sorry thats ur answer to everything. How can u disrespect ur ex team like that.

Guillen is referring to the Scott Merkin column on MLB.com
where Jenks talks negatively about the White Sox and manager Ozzie Guillen. Got to love a good soap opera. And you got to love how a guy like Jenks gets $12 million over 2 years. I thought Theo Epstein was shrewd.

Big Time Stars, Short Time White Sox

The Chicago White Sox have had their share of superstars over the years. They've also had a lot of other teams' too. Here's a trip down memory lane, looking at some of the big stars that came to play on the South Side for a cup of coffee, or maybe even a bit longer.

Oops! White Sox Tattoo Fail

backwards-white-sox-tattoo.jpg

Oops. Gina Bebis of Elmwood Park went to Mystic Tattoo Art & Body Piercing in Chicago in June for a tattoo of the Chicago White Sox logo -- and some purple doodads -- but got the tattoo that is featured above. She has filed a suit for 50k.

No word on whether the tattoo artist is a Cubs fan.

Ozzie Wasn't Kidding: Dinner with Carlos Zambrano Last Night

White Sox manager wasn't kidding when he was talking about having dinner with Carlos Zambrano last night. Check out this tweet:

Good luck to the Cubs in trying to deal Zambrano. It's not going to happen unless they eat about 80% of his contract or take on some awful contract in its place.

Nope, No East Coast Bias Here for ESPN

espnbiasredsox.jpg

Nope, no East coast bias here for ESPN. The Rangers win their 11th straight game and the White Sox win their 9th straight. But those stories get blips at ESPN. Meanwhile, the Red Sox take one game in the series from the Rockies and they get the top slot after the NBA Draft news. Ridiculous.

Also, ridiculous? Rasheed Wallace's retirement -- not necessarily even news as it has already been reported after the Finals ended -- gets a spot above the Rangers and White Sox.

White Sox Fans Get Their Brawl on at the Cell

This isn't your ordinary, sloppy baseball brawl in the stands. These White Sox fans at U.S. Cellular field mean some business. There are some serious shots being thrown by Ken Griffey Jr. Well not the Ken Griffey Jr., but the guy in the jersey.

Ozzie Guillen on Channel 26 in 1986 [Mob Video]

Check out this clip from Beisbol '86 and Channel 26 before it was "The U". Interesting choice of music for a Spanish-spoken baseball program. But you can't fault them too much, Huey Lewis was the man in the mid-80's, right? Also, it's a surprise to me that Ozzie's neck doesn't break from the weight of what looks like a ginormous cap on his head.

Your 2010 Chicago White Sox Starting Lineup

Gone from last year's starting lineup are the big bats of Jermaine Dye and Jim Thome. That's a lot of thump to replace, but Kenny Williams has retooled the roster with more speed, defense and depth. Ozzie Guillen will have plenty of opportunities to showcase his skills with a deep bench that includes Omar Vizquel, Jayson Nix, Ramon Castro and Mark Kotsay. Here's a projected lineup for opening day, but we know Kenny Williams might not be done just yet.

Future Hall of Famer Frank Thomas Officially Retires

Frank Thomas, "The Big Hurt" will officially announce his retirement during a news conference set for 11 a.m. today at U.S. Cellular Field. The team will also announce the retirement of his No. 35.

Thomas is one of the best right-handed hitters to ever play. That's not an exaggeration. In 2009, respected baseball writer Joe Posnanski rated Thomas as the 14th best hitter of all-time. He is one of only 4 players four players to have at least a .300 batting average, 500 home runs, 1,500 RBI, 1,000 runs and 1,500 walks in a career. The other 3? Ted WIlliams, Mel Ott and Babe Ruth. Wow. Here's a pictorial salute to the 2-time MVP, Frank Thomas.

This Man Could Lead the White Sox to the World Series

The White Sox have done a great job in solidifying their roster during the offseason. The starting pitching will be excellent. The defense is much improved. They added a former closer to the bullpen. They reinforced the bench. But if they want to win it all, they still need one more piece to complete the puzzle.

A few questions for Sox fans...

Does anyone want to count on Andruw Jones for steady run production?
Does anyone think Carlos Quentin will stay healthy all year and produce like he did in his lone magical season?
Does anyone think this team has enough offense? Enough power? A true leadoff hitter?

The answers to all of those questions could be solved in one transaction. Sign Johnny Damon. (article continues below slideshow)

Freddy Garcia Drunk at Soxfest, F-Bombing the Cubs [Video]

Thumbnail image for Freddy Garcia at Soxfest.jpg
Let me start by saying that this video is NSFW. I was wondering if it's appropriate to definitively title the post with Freddy being drunk, but I don't think anyone in their right minds come to any different conclusion. I'm pretty sure you he wouldn't say "F--- the Cubs" if he wasn't inebriated.
