This fall as part of the shifting in editorial focus of Call of the Wild it is time the photographers let our readers in on some of the other insanity they cover in their lives. Indeed the Wilds cameras never sleep, this is a "Best of" gallery of the seasons of the four high schools that we cover.
Headlines today often focus on the negativity surrounding our best asset, our youth. These students keep their grades up in order to play, leave it all on the field often in programs in danger of being cut due to budget constraints. The dedication of the players, managers,coaches and parents is to be respected and honored no matter where they list in the standings at the end of the season. It is in that spirt we at Call of the Wild say, well done.
