I feel blessed to be able to combine my love of photgraphy with my love of hockey. Raised in a family that avidly followed the sports of Pro Wrestling, Roller Derby, Nascar and the Chicago Bears.

The Rockford IceHogs continue to show their support this season for honorary IceHog, Sydney Ives. The "Better Halves," the wives and girlfriends of the players, and the team have put together a fundraiser for this holiday season and are looking for your support. On Friday and Saturday night this weekend at the MetroCentre they are selling Christmas ornaments that were autographed by the IceHogs players. Ornaments sell for $5 each are will be available tonight before, during and after the game. They also will be raffling off an autographed IceHogs jersey on Saturday night. TIckets for the jersey will be sold on Saturday night.

All proceeds from these sales will go to the Ives Foundation. The Ives Foundation was formed by the family of Sydney Ives. Ives battled against a brain tumor for over 18 months. Sydney received her angel wings just this past November. She was a made an honorary IceHog on May 20, 2009 and since her death, her jersey with the number 19 and the name Ivestrong on the back, hangs in the locker room in her memory. Please show your support tonight game for this worthy cause.
