I feel blessed to be able to combine my love of photgraphy with my love of hockey. Raised in a family that avidly followed the sports of Pro Wrestling, Roller Derby, Nascar and the Chicago Bears.

In what was the best game to date between the Rockford IceHogs and the Texas Stars, the Stars won in OT 4-3. The first two games against Texas did not end well for Rockford and fans were holding their breaths at the start of this third match up on Saturday night. Rockford seemed to find their rhythm in the second frame and didn't let up until the final buzzer sounded in over time.

The game remained scoreless throughout the first frame, with Texas out shooting Rockford 8-2. In the second and third frames Rockford seemed to step up their pace, out shooting Texas 39 to 15. But it was Texas' Sergei Korostin who tallied first at 1:43 of the second period. Rockford's Simon Danis-Pepin scored his first professional goal at the top of the third frame. Maxime Fortunus, of the Stars, would go on to score the game winner in OT, by beating Joe Fallon to the net. Fallon appeared to lay prone on the ice in disbelief for a minute, after the goal was scored. Texas nettie, Brent Krahn earned his tenth Win in a row.
