chicago 2016 olympics w/ "will & grace" sean hayes

ok, I always loved Jack on "will & grace" but this is just ridiculous! Sean was so nice to let me into his home (I think he owned it?) when I surprised him to talk about his love for his hometown chicago! And I must say, I think my surprise visit caught me more off guard then he was? I was laughing my head off- you'll see.... Enjoy!

oh, and don't forget, I'm posting at least one new celebrity interview a day here until I land in Copenhagen on oct. 2nd to hear the official announcement that (hopefully) chicago/usa wins the title of home to the 2016 olympics! how does that happen? you help spread the news! Twitter, facebook, myspace, email blast,.. whatever you can to get everyone in your city, country, world,... to watch these videos and hear how great Chicago is (and the USA is in general), and hear how much we want to host this cultural, sport, and friendship strengthening celebration in our home country in 2016!

Come on most of these people see Chicago as a nice stop over on the way to LA from NYC. May be they own real estate here but this is not their "home". Getting the 2016 Olympics looks good on glossy presentations and big ads, and it will be a big party for the Schwimmers and Pivens but for people who live in Chicago it will be one big pain in the ass. Daley has mismanaged the city, we have no money, so he has employees take a "furlough day". Come on Billy pick up the paper and see the truth.

hey jb!
appreciate your thoughts for sure... wouldn't categorize all of them so harshly... there are some that still live and work here, or atleast did so for many many years and only wish they could come back if their work allowed them to, and in fact are working to build a future in the entertainment industry to kids behind them so they all have platform to do well here in Chicago ... like the two you happened to mention for example... Jeremy's "Piven Theatre Workshop" and David's "Lookingglass Theatre Camp" ... both guys raise and personally donate a ton of money so kids all over the chicagoland area can get scholarships to study and work here instead of having to flee for the coasts for training and work like most had to do in the past w/ not enough resources here at home...
But to your real point, yes- I do think the Olympics has many challenges, and Chicago has challenges,... but all really good things in life do. we just got to keep being as passionate as you and I seem to be and push for better... and as you are out there really doing and acting on your thoughts you should share with people so they can join too... because your end desire is my end desire... to actually do something to create and maintain the greatest city in the world... got to imagine to do that we got to all hit from different angles and work with our strengths... and I am just trying to do the best I can as you are... and that's great!
If ever want to meet in person and talk- just let me know! I just want to make all work out and improve as best I can... Thanks again jb!
(btw, I do pick up the paper every day, that's why I suck so bad at all this internet stuff.. haha!)
