My daily horoscope suggested this to me today "You just need to make sure that you're dealing with the issues that are most obvious and pressing." Great advice!..so let me begin with I hate the morning traffic, it is bloody hot in the office today, and did DaMarcus Beasley really make the 23-man roster today? Many will disagree with me, but I am shocked! Maybe I'm being too harsh but I think he stinks. Speed really can't make up for the fact that he passes to Jesus (the invisible deity, not your buddy from down the street) more consistently than his own teammates. I do have some Chicago love for D.B. and no voodoo dolls required here, but I just can't believe he made the squad.

Early Christmas morning in 2006 I lost a dear friend of mine when
Dan Parry (1973-2006) was tragically killed in a hit and run, drunk driving accident. Dan was a passionate soccer supporter, loved spinning records, and also showed a true desire to help others through his work as a trained emergency medical technician.
Dan's spirit, without a doubt, lives on in his friends and family. Those that loved him hope his good hearted nature will live on through the Dan Parry-Memorial Scholarship-Foundation. An inaugural
fundraising event for this foundation will be held on Friday, April 16th at 8PM at the
Globe Pub. This fundraiser will help raise scholarship money for those who dream of becoming an EMT, paramedic, or firefighter. The event will include food, drinks, a silent auction, and dancing (music provided by DJs of the
Windy City Soul Club).
