That Jennifer Fernicola Ronay of Stop and Blog the Roses is always looking on the bright side. And not in that annoying way, either. In the funny way. The best way, if you ask me. Lenox Magee of Lenox and the Second City is a funny man. He's also on a crusade to make it into the Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame. If being smart, funny and bold on the radio while tackling some major-league, serious issues can help qualify him, we are glad to do our part. (He better invite us to the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, is all I'm saying. I can't speak for Quigley, but, man oh man, I always like a reason to don evening wear.) Tab Bamford of Daily Chicago Sports Tab is a funny guy. He also knows a whole helluva lot about sports. Way more than I know, admittedly (despite the considerable wit, charm and wealth of sports knowledge I bring to RedEye's Friday morning 5-on-5 item I do each weel with Quigley and the RedEye Sports crew), and so he will join us to talk about all of it: the Bears, the Blackhawks, the Bulls, and that awesome underwater hockey league I'm trying to get going around here. We close out the show this week talking about a couple of other hats Alex Quigley and I will be wearing this week, the upcoming ChicagoNow tweet-up on Tuesday, November 9, and the announcement of a cool, new bonus feature of the show. Boom. Oh, and I will tell the worst joke I've ever heard in my life. If that doesn't entice, I don't know what will!
