Saturday July 10 line-up on ChicagoNow Radio on WGN with Alex Quigley and Amy Guth from 9 a.m. to noon:
9 a.m.
Geek to Me's Elliott Serrano went to ComiCon and back and all he brought us was a lousy t-shirt. And by "lousy t-shirt" I mean, awesome geektacular adventure stories of rad comics, chicks in chainmaille, fanboy dudes and other gems.
9:30 a.m.
Speaking of adventures, our pal Joe Campagna the Chicago Food Snob is back with his insider dirt after soending a day hanging out with Andrew Zimmern. Let's hope he didn't have to eat anything too freaky.
10 a.m.
Since just about the only thing we've been doing this week is hypothesizing about the future of the Bulls, we might as well bring in one of our very own experts, returning ChicagoNow Radio guest Tab Bamford of Daily Sports Tab, to help us sort the hay.
10:30 a.m.
Next up, we welcome funny lady Jenny Milk of Milkin' It to put her on the spot by demanding, "Hey! Say something funny!" It'll be a scream, you'll see.
11 a.m.
Then, we put on our serious pants (right, because that's how Quigley and I roll...) and welcome Warner Todd Houston of Publius Forum and we'll talk about Blago, Burge, guns and all of the other political issues allowing the Windy City to keep living up to its nickname.
11:30 a.m.
We close the show with The Former Chubette to talk about healthy choices and being "Madonna-confident and sassy."
Find the latest on our spiffy Facebook page, too, and by following me (@AmyGuth), Alex Quigley (@AlexQuigley) and ChicagoNow Radio (@ChicagoNowRadio) on Twitter.
