It was a rainy night in Chicago but there was a packed house of fashionistas that came to celebrate the work of 6 local designers from Macy's Chicago Fashion Incubator. It was fun to see some local designers that have a long history in Chicago including Lauren Lein & Jerimikko, whose first collection was sold at my boutique, Bottega Glaseia. The designers who received the biggest roar from the crowd was Lee Allison as he sent male models down the runway in ties & exposed chests and Tennille White who sent several plus-sized models down the runway (Yes, woman of all sizes embrace fashion). It was a great night all around and I'm glad I was a part of it.
