Ditka's been scary in every era, from his playing days when he once slammed a fan to the ground to coaching when he broke his hand on a locker and constantly ripped the media. He's mellowed a bit but who'd you rather get chewed out by, Lovie Smith or Da Coach? AP)

Not a Chicagoan. Even though "Da Coach!" is loved by many of us true chicagoans, and he has lived here at vaarious times, he cannot be considered a Chicagoan, especially since he was from Carnegie, PA originally.
