Hey everybody, thought I'd share a few links with you before I talk with Fire Head Coach Denis Hamlett later this afternoon (knock on wood...).
Here's a piece the USA Today put together further detailing the MLS playoff situation. It gives a pretty broad view of the postseason picture and drops some valuable knowledge so you should check it out.
Kent McDill of the Fire's official website did a nice piece detailing the 2009 seasons of some of the team's young players. Not sure about the timing of the article (I mean shouldn't there be some sort of feature on the playoffs?) but it's a pretty good read. You can check it out here.
ESPN Soccernet's Kristian Dyer recently came out with a very informative piece detailing the current economic condition of MLS. The first soccer story I wrote was a piece like this for a Journalism class last year, so stories like this always catch my eye.
I'll be back later on this afternoon with a post updating the Fire's injury situation.
