Not a whole lot of Fire related news coming out of Toyota Park today, so I thought I'd take this opportunity to catch up on some older bits of info that I haven't had the time to post on earlier. Here we go...
Scott Powers of ESPNChicago.com wrote a nice feature on Brian McBride's upcoming off-season decision the other day. The article peers into the "family-man" side of McBride and provides some context/speculation regarding his decision on whether or not to play in 2010. For those of you who don't already know, the Fire's 12th anniversary is tomorrow. Technical Director Frank Klopas and Section 8 are teaming up to throw a party in celebration of the anniversary at the Toyota Park Stadium Club tomorrow night. Tickets are $15 if ordered in advance and $20 if bought at the door. It should be a good opportunity for fans to come out and meet other fans, players, and staff. Check out all the details here.
