Here are a few quick Fire-Galaxy themed links to start your day. I hope to be back with another entry later on, so keep it here...
The USA Today did a nice feature on Galaxy forward Landon Donovan, which you can check out here. Donovan - who scored in the Galaxy's 2-0 win over the Fire back on August 19th - is, in my mind, the best player in MLS and the Fire need to watch out tomorrow night, because he can turn a match around in a hurry.
The Fire's Weekly Notes points out a ton of interesting similarities between the 2009 seasons of the Fire and the Galaxy. Check it out here.
Not sure if anyone checked this out already, but Mike Hines of RedEye did an interview with Brian McBride late last week. It's a pretty good read and offers up some new information about our favorite Arlington Heights native. Check it out here.
Here's another item from the Fire's official site by fellow Toyota Park Press Member Kent McDill detailing the Fire's look ahead towards playoff positioning. Click here for the article.
As I said earlier in the post, I'll be back with another Fire-Galaxy entry this afternoon so be sure to come back and check it out. Happy reading.
