FINAL SCORE: Bears 36, Vikings 30

The Bears get to strut their stuff on national television for their second and final tilt with the Vikings on ESPN's Monday Night Football.   Will this be Brett Favre's last trip to Soldier Field?  Here's to hoping.

If you haven't watched any Monday Night Football this season, the hyperbole will be in full force.  "Brett Favre is the greatest this, Adrian Peterson is the most amazing that..."  You'll get the picture after listening for about 30 seconds.

I have to admit, the bigger Bears story has become what goes on off the field than what happens between the white lines.  I'll be keeping on eye on Lovie Smith and see how he carries himself under the heightened scrutiny.  The Marconi Giardiniera Hot Seat is on fire right now as he and Jerry Angelo scramble to try to save their skins.

To make matters worse for the Bears, the Vikes come in very motivated.  The surprising Saints' loss to the woeful Bucs opens the door for Minnesota to get a shot at the #1 seed in the NFC.  The Vikings would need to win out and have the Saints drop their third straight to clinch home field advantage, but with the possibility out there, you the Vikings will come out firing.

In case you're new to Bears Game Day, here's how this works.  I will be providing a running commentary as the action unfolds in the Comments section and be providing a Scoring Summary after the jump.  Feel free to join the discussion by signing up here.

Check back here for last-minute injury news, inactives and final pre-game thoughts.
SCORING SUMMARY

Bears 3, Vikings nil
Cutler hits a big 3rd down conversion to Desmond Clark and some decent runs by Matt Forte key this short drive.  Robbie Gould hits a short 22 yarder to put the Bears up.

Bears 6, Vikings chill

A Brett Favre fumble sets the stage for the Robbie Gould 42 yard field goal.

Bears 13, Vikings still
Jay Cutler is impressive on this drive, hitting Greg Olsen for a big 25 yard gain and a great toss to Devin Aromashodu.  Olsen caps off the drive with a 7-yard TD reception.  Where the heck have these guys been?

Bears 16, Vikings no will

Cutler marches the Bears down in the 2-minute drill to get another Robbie Gould FG.  His 41-yarder puts the Bears up 16.  Who are these guys???

Vikings 6, Bears 16
Good thing, I was running out of things that end in "ill".  Someone woke up the sleeping Giant. Brett Favre and Bernard Berrian played catch on that drive, capped by a 1-yard Peterson rushing TD.  Idonije blocked the PAT to keep it a 10 point game.

Bears 23, Vikings 6

A Danieal Manning kick return into Vikings territory sets up this short scoring rive.  Cutler hits a wide-open Desmond Clark on a 2-yard TD pass to increase the Bears lead.

Vikings 13, Bears 23
Favre will not go quiet into that good night.  He's slinging it around and with Adrian Peterson running strong, the Vikings march 73 yards in just over 5 minutes.  Favre hits Shiancoe with a 6 yard TD pass.  Somehow, I feel like this one will go down to the wire.

Vikings 16, Bears 23

Jay Cutler's 26th INT gives the Vikes a short field, but the drive stalls.  Longwell hits a 41-yard FG to pull Minnesota to within 7.  Most notably, Peanut Tillman carted off the field after a bad hit by teammate Craig Steltz.

Vikings 23, Bears 23
Vikings with 17 unanswered points to tie it up.  Adrian Peterson walks in from 1 yard out for his second TD of the game to knot it up.

Bears 30, Vikings 23
Danieal Manning with another ridiculous kick return, this down to the Viking 21.  2 plays later, Cutler hits Bennett with a TD strike.  Time for the Bears D to step up with just under 5 minutes left.

Vikings 30, Bears 30
Favre hits Sidney Rice on a fade pattern on 4th and goal to tie the ballgame with 16 seconds left.  Favre just carved up the Cover 2.

Bears 36, Vikings 30
Jay Cutler hits Devin Aromashodu with a 39 yard strike for the walk-off winner!  Bears win thanks to a Hunter Hillenmeyer forced fumble of Adrian Peterson.

Bears give the Saints Home Field for the NFC playoffs with an upset win.  A nice way to close out the home portion of the schedule.

The Lovie apologists will try to use this game as a reason to keep the coaching staff.  Don't but into it.  Be sure to check out FIRE LOVIE SMITH for reasons why this game is NOT a life preserver.

Thanks to all for joining the discussion.  Check out Bear Goggles On for coverage throughout the week and be sure to join us back here at Bears Game Day for the exciting season finale next week in Detroit.

OK, I'll tell you where I stand before I tell you where I sit. Born and raised on the South Side of Chicago in the 87th and Stoney Island area. Went to St. Ailbe's Catholic School at 89th and Blackstone. Been a Bears fan since the 1960's. Moved to Colorado in the 1980's and have become a Bronco fan too. Won't get started on the Cutler/Orton issue. It's been commented on to death for sure.
I do hope the Bears do well tonight but it will be a tough go, that's for sure. I was never a Green Bay fan but did love to watch Favre play and still do. With whats on the line for the Vikings I expect at least a 2 touchdown advantage for them against this Bears team. I never thought the Bears would be this bad this year. They have many problems in many area's and I would expect a big house cleaning in the off season. Most in my family have said over the years that the McCaskie's selling the Bears would be the best thing that could happen. We have been waiting for years for that however. 1985's win in the Super Bowl was a miracle. Thanks Coach Ditka!
Looking forward to the game tonight and will check back here too.
Go Bears!!!

...watching the ESPN tv coverage during breaks from the 780 crew and they just said in the last segment that Ron Jaworski watched footage of all 25 of Cutler's picks and 22 of them were on Cutler. While I think Jay has regressed this year I have a hard time buying the fact that receivers are not more culpable.

Bottom Line: we better hope this is a one year fluke for Jay because if he truly is not good then we have nothing left to root for as Bears fans. -e.

My grandson is taking a nap so I can watch ESPN instead of The Good Night Show with Nina and Star...I will switch to Make Way For Noddy - Calliou - Thomas - The Berenstain Bears and Bob The Builder if the Vikes get into triple figures...

Will the Bears rest their starters?

Vikings inactives: Pat Williams, Jayme Mitchell, Jon Cooper, J Leman, Garrett Mills, Karl Paymah, Jaymar Johnson, Sage Rosenfels

Craig Steltz and Josh Bullocks are your starting safeties Bears fans. Is it too late to parlay the over with the Vikings? Favre must be licking his chops to pick these guys apart.

jack lacan said:

Only one Bear clip on "Come on, man!" Cutler's helmet knocked off by official. Maybe Bears will not make the finals of the "Come on, man" clips tonight.

Bears have clinched the final four of the False Start Sweepstakes. however.

From Peggy Kusinski's Twitter: @peggykusinski #Bears pregame radio show reports Lovie Smith made an emotional plea to players and coaches to have their best games. "all in" catchphrase

Mike Burzawa said:

His emotional plea smacks of desperation. Even if the Bears can pull off the upset, can Lovie really wiggle off the hook?

Mr. E said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Both Lovie AND Jerry are desperate and ready to throw each other under the bus. Conventional football wisdom says these 2 games don't matter but it's a toss up because we have no idea who makes decisions above the GM? Is it the bean counter or whatever faction within the McCaskey family sways Virginia?

It's a scary way to run a franchise.

Nice coverage by the Bears Special Teams. Hey, we have to try to find the few bright spots where we can. More Favre is great crap. Please pass me a barf bag!

Vikes take over at the 13. AP is bottled up for a loss of 3. Tommie Harris leads the charge. Too little, too late. Favre hands off to AP again and Lance Briggs takes him down for another loss. 3rd and 13 - Vikes have us right where they want us. Draw play to Chester Taylor and he nearly picks up the first. Should I be surprised that Favre didn't throw on that series?

3rd and goal from the 4. Can we come up with a decent play? Cutler can't hit Olsen and Robbie Gould will come on to attempt a chip shot. Good as Gould! Bears up 3-0.

jack lacan said:

FClef said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Oh and Turner, stop calling that same play you just did on 3rd and 4, its not working. Just like it didnt work the last 45 times you called it.

JohnUlrich said:

I have been watching the Chris Williams v. Mullet Man match-up closely. Williams is doing ok against a pro-bowler. Encouraging.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

With some chipping from Forte on obvious passing downs.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Vikings take over at the 30. Favre has yet to throw a pass as he hands to Taylor. Favre converts a first down as he hits Rice with his first pass of the night.

Mike Burzawa said:

Who are these guys?

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

WOW! A pass rush! Was that Gaines Adams? No, Tommie Harris. That's two plays from him. He's about met his quota for the night. Lovie is contemplating a challenge. Why not?

Favre fumbles under heat from Izzy Idonije and Tommie Harris is Johnny on the spot. Bears will take over. Did Lovie's pre-game plea resonate with these guys? If so, why the heck did it take until week 16 when it doesn't matter any more?

FClef said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Because this is what always happens when the Bears go out of contention. They come out like gangbusters for a game. Its mainly to frustrate us I think.

masabe said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Jaws just said there's dew on the turf. Um, I think that's called frost. Just saying. Holy cow - Cutler rolling out and hitting Olsen for a gain of 16. Who are these guys? Now the Bears are going no-huddle. Cutler scrambles and takes it to the would-be Viking tackler.

Mr. E said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Almost like everyone from the coordinators on down are working like their jobs depend on it...

FClef said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Dont get too excited yet, wait till the Vikings adjust and see if we're still successful. That's usually when Lovie gets outcoached.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

First quarter comes to a close with the Bears holding on to a rare first quarter lead. I don't know if I should be happy that they're playing well or mad that it takes a meaningless game when we're totally out of the playoff race to show some fucking pride.

Mr. E said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Wait until they use this effort to keep Lovie.

FClef said:

Hell, even Forte with a great cutback totally reversing his field to pick up 3 yards and the first down.

TheFoss1957 said:

In the I...Forte is starting 7 yards behind the LOS, and is getting first contact 3 yards behind the LOS...that is unacceptable line play and/or play design, and NOT the RB's fault.

Mike Burzawa said:

Des Clark with a catch and gets driven back. Throws #88 down after the whistle, but no flag. Clark in his face with some pushing and shoving. Cutler and Olsen can't connect to bring on a another field goal. Gould is good again. Bears up 6-0.

FClef said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Ok that one isnt on Jay. That is a hot-read that needs to be made by Olsen. Im beginning to think Olsen is the white Hester: As athletic as he is football dumb.

JohnUlrich said:

G-Reg can't be dumb. He can throw down some mad rhymes like he did at the U.

FClef said:

Thats about all he's good for.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Gruden polishes Harvin's apple a bit, saying the Bears should be careful kicking to him. Puh-lease. One thing the Bears won't do is kick away from anyone.

JohnUlrich said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

ESPN is really trying to sell the winter scene with stock photography from past Chicago winters. It's only 22 degrees. It isn't that cold.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears D keeping AP in check, but just as I type that, he goes for about 9 and close to a first down. 3rd and 1. Taylor was dead in the backfield, but evades a Bears tackler to pick up the first down.

FClef said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Because Anthony Adams is slow and bad.

Mike Burzawa said:

"Lovie Smith has done a great job coaching effort..." Gruden said. No lie. Coaching effort. Please pass me a fresh barf bag.

jack lacan said:

user-pic

WHO ARE THESE GUYS???

JohnUlrich said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Who are these guys? Did the Bears and Vikes players switch uniforms prior to the game? When did Ron Turner find the "Plays for a Real, Professional Offense" chapter in the playbook?

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Ron Turner must have gotten an Offense for Dummies book for Christmas.

FClef said:

They're the same plays, only with pass protection.

FClef said:

Alright Olin!

jack lacan said:

Mike --- that clinches the False Start Sweepstakes --- Bears romp...

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Coming out of the time out, we have our first whistle. Olin Kreutz with a snap infraction. I think that's fancy ref talk for false start on the center. Now we have 3rd and 9. Cutler hits DA with a laser beam. Nice grab. Bears first and goal from the 2.

TheFoss1957 said:

Bears defense is fired up. Gruden commenting on the D-line rotation including Gilbert and Gaines Adams. 3rd down and Favre can't connect. Vikings will punt. Bennett brings in the fair catch. Bears need to step on their throats. Go deep to Knox!

TheFoss1957 said:

Mike Burzawa said:

Mike Burzawa said:

Like all season? I think this is the widest halftime margin the Bears have had in their favor.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears chicken out and let the clock run down and will settle for a field goal attempt. Gould will attempt a 41-yarder and it's good! Bears take it into the locker room with a 16-0 lead.

This fan is torn...Want to see a clean sweep Front office and Coaching staff, and embarrassing losses to Vikes and Lions can do that...but HATE to see a rival beat our guys.

Favre can't connect with Berrian. He just dropped it. Aren't Vikings fans glad they paid him as a #1 WR? Bennett brings the punt out to the 8. Long way to go for Cutler and the offense.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

A couple of Forte runs get it out to the 19 and a first down. Forte up the middle again. Bears running right at the hole vacated by one half of the Williams Wall. Big Pat is out tonight.

What planet has Gruden been on for the last six weeks? "I recognize this Ron Turner" ---

jack lacan said:

user-pic

HOWEVER --- I will take Gruden rather than that idiot Billick...

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Careful Jack - if the other coaching candidates are gobbled up (Cowher and Shanny), these idiots could be future Bears coaches.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Cutler can't convert a 3rd and 2 pass to Knox. Cutler is frustrated that Knox gave up on the route. Nice boot by the injured Maynard. Favre and the Vikes will take over at the 20.

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Maynard and Gould have been our players of the decade!

JohnUlrich said:

What's going on with the Bears punt teams? First, Bennett collects the punt inside the five and now Davis downs the punt prematurely. Let it roll, baby, roll. Roll, all night long.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Favre hooks up with Berrian on a couple of plays - first a slant, then a deep sideline route. Tillman interferes with Rice in the end zone and it will be 1st and goal from the 1. AP outruns Briggs to the corner of the end zone to get the Vikings on the board. Man, they carved us up in no time flat.

jack lacan said:

Well, we know we can play one terrific half...

What no block in the back or anything?

Mike Burzawa said:

Danieal Manning with a great return to get into Vikings territory. Cutler and Bears on the move; on the doorstep of the RED ZONE. Olsen was held en route to the end zone. Bears will have the ball first and goal.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Cutler hits a wide open Des Clark for a TD! Bears 23-6.

Am I dreaming - did I see play action touchdown pass?

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Favre is going to sling it around now with the Vikes down 17.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Refs needs to get their act together. The boobs in the booth are crying for a personal foul on a hit along the sidelines on AP. Just shut up. This is FOOTBALL!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Vikings picking up 9 yards at a clip as they get to the Bears' 20. Favre tries a fade to AP in the end zone, but he falls down.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Favre hits Rice to convert a 3rd and 4. First and goal and the Bears D bum-rushes Taylor for a loss. Just under 90 seconds in the half, Favre hits Shiancoe for a TD. Vikes get the PAT this time and the Vikes are back within 10.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Johnny Knox shaken up on the kick return that comes out to the Bears 40. Bears Special Teams look strong as always.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Uh oh! Knox is heading off on a cart. That's a damn shame for the rookie.

christian h. said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Yeah that half was a mirage... fire everyone.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Cutler got bullrushed for a sack to lose 9. Bears are back on their heels a bit. 3rd and 17. Cutler throws his 26th INT of the season. Who was he throwing to there? Bennett was already double covered! Come on, man!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Favre and the Vikings down 10 with the ball inside the 50 as the 3rd quarter comes to a close. Can the Bears hang on?

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Cutler laughing on the sidelines! WTF???

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears D needs to step up. AP catches a little dump off and picks up another first down. Favre under serious heat. Izzy and Harrison lead the charge in the backfield. Favre with grounding. 10 yards and loss of down. Nice!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears telegraph the blitz and Favre just lobs it over Izzy Idonije in coverage. Steltz just knocked out Tillman with some friendly fire. Injury time out.

christian h. said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Can the Bears defensive backs cover anyone? Or is this the result of the Lovie Smith "one on one but no pressure" defence?

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Tillman will need a stretcher to get off the field. Steltz nailed him in the ribs. Hope they're just being overly cautious. Peanut is a class act!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears D rises up and stuffs the Vikings rushing attempt on 3rd and 2. "Tommie Harris is a force" Gruden said. Longwell nails a 41-yarder to get the Vikings to within 7.

magburza said:

Knox out. Peanut out... are the Bears starting to crumble?

jack lacan said:

Mike Burzawa said:

Cutler hits DA for a big 3rd down conversion. Vikings D is stepping up. Bears at midfield. Cutler goes for it and almost hooks up with DA on a back shoulder play down the sidelines. Bears face 3rd and 9 with just under 10 and a half minutes left. Cutler sacked on 3rd down. Maynard on to punt...

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

I love the Bears 2nd Half adjustments on offense...Having the lead, with Forte averaging 4ypc and Bell 5ypc, RT all but abandons the run...

We are gonna cough this one up.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Favre tries to hit Harvin down the sideline, but he gets tangled up with Bowman. Favre hits Harvin "in space" but the space disappears in a hurry. 3rd and 10 for the Vikings. Come on D! Favre hits Chester Taylon underneath and he runs for the first down and then some, picking up 20.

jack lacan said:

user-pic

Third and ten --- Favre escapes and it is the begining of the end...

JohnUlrich said:

Or special teams can make a play!!! Great return, Manning.

jack lacan said:

user-pic

ESPN crew worship Favre ad-nauseum...

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Favre hits Greg Lewis (former Illini) for another big gain. He's carving up this Bears D like it's 1999. Favre hits Rice on a slant for another first down at the 13. Harvin gets it down near the goal line. No huddle. AP walks in for a TD. Vikings tie it up with the PAT.

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Like a hot knife though butter...and running the ball effectively, even while trailing (it would never occur to RT to do that to keep a Defense honest)...the 'Queens move the ball like our D wasn't even there...It's tied now...so we go 3 and out with three pass calls, and Favre will get the ball back with 3 minutes left for the game winning drive..

jack lacan said:

user-pic

Bears D --- a vision of the end...

TheFoss1957 said:

Manning's return only means that the 'Queens will drive for a TD for the win.

JohnUlrich said:

It appears that they are playing for a FG.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Holy Crap! Danieal Manning only had 1 man to beat, but stumbled. Bears start at the Vikings 21 yard line. No time to be timid. Need a TD here, not another goddamn field goal. What do they have to lose?

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

And just like that Cutler hits Earl Bennett with a 20 yard TD strike. WOW! Nice throw! Bears take the lead back!

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

OMG...a score...but a LOT of time for Favre...so a TD with a 2-pt conversion still will beat us.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

OK defense, your turn to step it up!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Adrian Peterson just trucked over Danieal Manning. Vikings out to midfield already. 3:30 left.

jack lacan said:

jack lacan said:

user-pic

Not one defensive lineman can beat a block???
Why can't A.P. break a rib?-

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Gruden states the obvious - Favre is playing catch, toying with the Cover-2. Zack Bowman just misses the INT of a lifetime. That could have sealed it. Hillenmeyer with nice coverage.

jack lacan said:

user-pic

Gould in O.T. for the win???

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Bowman with a drop of the gamewinner! THEIR AP with an old fashioned 20 dive over the top...that is a short yardage play the Bears could use!

Vikes with an eternity (2:00), some time outs, and in the red zone. Bowman's drop could be the kill shot FOR US!

JohnUlrich said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

Nice play, Hunter!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Just inside the 2-minute warning with the Vikes inside the 20. Favre is playing with fire with another near INT. Hillenmeyer again on the coverage. Don't underestimate him against Favre! 3rd and 9 with the clock running. Favre hits Rice for the first down. 1:04 left. Time out.

JohnUlrich said:

default userpic local-auth auth-type-mt

A little pressure would be nice. The Bears cannot et Favre sit back and carve up the defense. Play man and blitz off the corner.

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

With time outs left...THEIR running game is still a threat! (again, this wouldn't occur to RT, in the same situation)

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Some miscommunication on the D, but nothing doing. Favre scrambles on 2nd down but only a minimal gain. 3rd and goal with 26 seconds left. Corey Graham with the coverage on Harvin. 4th down. Ballgame coming up. Time out Vikes.

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

A one-play game...yeesh...shouldn't have come to this!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Here is your ballgame. No AP or Shiancoe on the field. Time to step up D. Bears take a time out. What is this, a basketball game? Lovie del Negro tries the old see what you're running so I'll counter time out. Will it backfire?

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Back and fired. Rice with a fade pattern over Corey Graham. Vikings an extra point away from making me work overtime. Tie ballgame.

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Nothing more Graham could have done...I am surprised that Childress is gonna take a chance on OT...I would have taken my chances with Taylor or AP, Farve, Rice, et al. and only two yards to gain.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears' primary kick returners (Manning and Knox) are out, so DA returns the kick out to the 20. Bears take a knee to the boos from the crowd. OT, here we come.

jack lacan said:

user-pic

If Vikes get the ball in O.T. --- game ovah...

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears win the toss and will receive here in sudden death. Can we get someone better than DA to return this kickoff?

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Well, Bears won the toss...gonna have ONE POSSESSION to win this game...the Bear D is done, and the game will be over if the 'Queens get the ball.

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bennett back to get this kick. He brings it out to the 32. Gruden says the Bears will play to win on this possession. We'll see about that.

jack lacan said:

user-pic

Keep in mind Gould cannot kick and eighty yarder...

jack lacan said:

user-pic

This game proves that Childress does NOT coach the Vikes...All coaching decisions and offensive co-ordination is strictly Favre...

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

DA picks up about 33 yards on the pass from Cutler. WOW! Bears near FG range. 2nd and 10, needs a few more yards. Des Clark gets it out to the 30. 3rd and 6 coming up. Forte up the gut, short of the first down. A 45-yarder from Robbie Gould coming up for the win. He pushed it to the right. Oh crap! What a time to miss. Damn!

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Pushed to the right...tough miss for Gould...but he is still my MVP of the decade (along with Maynard)

jack lacan said:

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Oh NOOO...they have the ball where we can't stop them...3rd and Long!

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Favre pleading for a roughing the passer penalty, but nothing doing. On the next play, Alex Brown brings down Favre. 3rd and long coming up. Come on D! Mark Anderson with a sack while getting held. Bears will get the ball back. WOW! Where has this Defense been all year???

TheFoss1957 said:

user-pic

Anderson makes a play!

jack lacan said:

user-pic

Foss is right --- Gould and Maynard have be one beam of sunshine is a dismal season...

Mike Burzawa said:

user-pic

Bears take over at the 38. Cutler tries to hit McKie with a chest pass. Forte with a short gain. 3rd and 7 coming up. Gould shaking his head on the sidelines. Cutler's pass knocked away. Bears will punt.

TheFoss1957 said:

Patrick Mannely with a Clothesline...very nice...

TheFoss1957 said:

Mike Burzawa said:

Nice tackle by Mannelly on the punt return tackle. It scares me that AP hasn't busted off a big run yet. In OT, that would be lethal. Hillenmeyer with his best Peanut Tillman impression, punches it out and AP coughs it up. NICE PLAY!!!
