Live from Seattle: Orange and Blue Prominently Represented as Bears Fans Invade Seattle
Bears fans have descended on the Emerald City in preparation fom Sunday afternoon's game against the battered and bruised Seahawks.
My crew is in Seattle on our annual Bears Trip. It's a 14-year tradition where we go on the road with the Bears to take in one of their road games. We've seen some of the best and worst of the Bears in our trips.
Remember the Monday night game against the Cardinals on the road to the Super Bowl? Yep, we were there. Last season's painful loss to the Panthers? There too.
We spent part of Saturday recovering from some Friday night pre-game festivities and the other part doing the tourist thing. I could not help but notice the Orange and Blue well represented throughout the city. Check it some of the sights:
It didn't take long to spot the first Jay Cutler jersey.
Another Cutler sighting, but I don't recall a General Lee ever suiting up for the Beloved. I love Bears fans, but crossing the Bears and the Dukes of Hazard is just wrong. Stop yourself!
This guy is rocking it old school with this sweatshirt. Sweet!
But it wasn't just Bears fans that were representing the Orange and Blue...
An orange Lamborghini rolled up. Couldn't confirm if it was Lance Briggs.
The guys at Pike's Place Fish Market were donning the Orange too!
Hell, even the buses in Seattle are orange and blue!
Doesn't any one in this town support the Seahawks?
Yo dude, the 90's called and asked for their haircut back! This dude must've lost a bet. No one would do that voluntarily, right?< p>
Thanks to Jimmy for covering the Live Blog on Sunday while I'm at the game. Be sure to check it out! In the meantime, I'll be tweeting and sending some picks from our Pre-game festivities and the game. Follow me on Twitter at http://twitter.com/BearGogglesOn.
BEAR DOWN!!!
