A thirty-year employee of Amtrak says he suffered a stroke at work and his employer did nothing to help him.
Manuel Avelos says that on April 23, 2007, while working for Amtrak as a track worker machine operator, he started to exhibit symptoms of a stroke and did in fact suffer one.
The complaint states that for more than four hours, while Avelos suffered the stroke, Amtrak failed to institute any medical procedures or take him to an emergency room.
