Man sues Toyota over stuck gas pedal

A man is suing Toyota and Hertz after the gas pedal in his rented Corolla allegedly became stuck and resulted in a collision.

Ed Izenstark says that on December 26, 2009, he was involved in a car accident after the gas pedal in the Toyota Corolla he rented from Hertz became stuck and he was unable to stop at the intersection, resulting in a crash with a third party and injuries to Izenstark and his passenger.

Izenstark is suing Toyota under the theories of negligence and strict liability.  Read more about Toyota in the news here.
