A woman is suing the Metra for injuries she says she sustained when a train toilet malfunctioned.
Julianna Mandernach says that when she was a passenger on the Metra line from Chicago to Joliet/Rock Island, she flushed the toilet and "contents of the toilet exploded out of the toilet and splattered the plaintiff."
The complaint states that Metra, among other things, failed to repair and replace the toilet when it knew or should have known it was in need of replacement or repair.

Unlike the case a couple of days ago, I don't think I want to see the evidence in this one.

Hmm, what exact "injuries" did she receive? Is being splattered with toilet waste an "injury"??
