A Schaumburg police officer is suing a man for a vehicle collision after the man's foot got caught under the brake pedal.
Jennifer Segoviano, a Schaumburg police officer, says that she was on duty and operating a marked police vehicle when the defendant "got his foot caught under the brake petal and failed to stop his vehicle from striking the rear of the vehicle of the plaintiff."
Interestingly, Mark A. Mac Leod is named as the defendant but, aside from an initial mention, he is referred to throughout the complaint as "David A. Mac Leod."

I wouldn't feel too good if my attorney did't know the difference between a 'petal' and a 'pedal'.
