A man who says he was sexually harassed by his male supervisor is petitioning the court to get the deposition testimony of the supervisor before the supervisor dies of cancer.
Brian Sowa says that while he was employed at Lennar Corporation he was sexually harassed by R. Steven Ivey. Such harassment included requests for sex and sexual acts and "offering to pay me to engage in sex with him," the petition states.
Now, according to the petition, Mr. Ivey has been diagnosed with terminal cancer and Sowa asserts that Ivey needs to be deposed as soon as possible so that his testimony may be preserved for the expected litigation.
A procedural matter is holding up Sowa's filing of a complaint as he waits for his Right to Sue from the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Read the petition after the jump.
