According to the complaint, Dr. Gerardo Gonzalez has been asked repeatedly to stop practicing dentistry by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) because he does not have a license in Illinois.
Still, the complaint states Gonzalez continues to practice dentistry and advertise his dental practice on Spanish language radio shows and in newspapers.
When investigators from IDFPR visited Gonzalez' residence at 5123 S. Kedzie, they found his dental degree from Mexico displayed in the waiting area as well as other indications that the office continues to be up and running despite a cease and desist order from IDFPR.
IDFPR has also received several complaints about Gonzalez, including one complainant who witnessed blood droplets on the floor, dental tools encrusted with blood and Gonzalez using the same gloves for different patients, the complaint states.

My goodness, that is just horrible! Thank goodness the authorities have been made aware of him. However, I should make a mention about Dr. Siegel. My family are regulars at this Chicago dentist http://www.bigsmiledental.com/. We continue to have the most pleasant experience each time. Cosmetic dentistry is another area this dentist specializes in, http://www.bigsmiledental.com/1_cosmetic_dentistry.php
