A woman is suing the House of Blues Chicago for injuries she said she sustained when she was beaten and restrained by a security guard while at the venue.
According to the complaint, on July 20, 2008, plaintiff Kristen Chopp was removed from a public and common area of the venue and taken to an isolated room by defendant security officer Rikki Jones. The complaint states that while in the isolated room, Chopp was held against her will and battered on her face and body.
