A man says his right index finger was amputated while working at Panera Bread.
A Petition for Discovery Before Suit to Identify Responsible Persons and Entities was filed today on Jose Luis Marquez's behalf and states that the injuries occurred while he was attempting to clean a bread cutting machine.
The plaintiff's attorneys are seeking to "inspect, identify, photograph, videotape, and/or examine and test the bread cutting machine involved."
Read the petition after the jump.

I hope they retrieved the finger before making the bread. For discovery reasons only, of course.;-)
I'm sure this was styled "to Identify Responsible Persons and Entities" was to prepare for a product liability case against the manufacturer of the machine, since otherwise this would be workers' comp.
