Landlord: La Strada restaurant closed but still owes rent

In 2007, La Strada Ristorante closed its doors on Michigan Avenue after 28 years, citing development of a 40-story residential tower where the restaurant was once located. Read a post about the restaurant's closing in 2007.

Now, the restaurant and its owner, Michael Mormando, are being sued for back rent of about $42,000 by the former landlord, Millenium Park Plaza.
