Scruffy rock duo Chew Heart answered our Chi-Tunes questionnaire. Do the same and your band could appear in RedEye and Metromix!

Listen: "Western Mass"

What makes your live show great?

We're a two-piece, so we have to play extra hard to make up for the lack of band members. If it's half as fun to watch as it is to play, our live set should make for a good time.

Describe your sound in five words or less.

Messy snarls

Tell us something random about the band, and why that's significant.

We started making music 6 years ago after I gave Laura my old 4-track as a birthday present. She started recording songs right away, using pots and pans as drums. It was amazing and I knew we had to start a band.

Who would you want to work with, and who would you never work with? Why?

If we could go back in time, it would be amazing to work with Phil Spector in the mid-60's, before he went completely crazy. It would be cool to hear our songs drenched in his classic "Wall Of Sound." I wouldn't want to work with T-Pain. Auto-Tune really needs to go away.

If the band was a '90s sitcom character, who would it be and why?

Elaine Benes from Seinfeld. She had the best dance moves.
