What makes your live show great?

Yes, there is a mountain of energy the band permeates that is infectious at the live shows, but there is also an emotional connection. We strive to unleash the emotional potential of the song during live performances. It's a no holds bard battle for your musical soul.

Describe your sound in five words or less.

Quirky thoughtful landscape of goodness

Tell us something random about the band, and why that's significant.

Charlie (the composer and vocalist) and Michael (the lyricist) slept together (innuendo not intended) on a fold out couch before ever knowing each other. I think it was a good sign of how tolerant and comfortable each of us was in our own skin. If you can sleep with someone who's a complete stranger, you sure as hell can work with them.

Who would you want to work with, and who would you never work with? Why?

It's safe to say we'd be down for working with The Flaming Lips, Nada Surf, and Radiohead. We really enjoy the originality of their lyrics. I think we can rule out Susan Boyle in our future collaborations.

If the band was a '90s sitcom character, who would it be and why?

I'd have to say Newman from "Seinfeld." We're here to cause trouble and deliver.
