Jeannette Kravitz is a brilliant, passionate, compassionate, and beautiful woman. She's made it her personal mission to change the world through children, bridging cultural gaps, and protecting the environment. I'm fortunate enough to know her, and she and her husband and partner Randy believe strongly in what Jay and I and the whole Endure To Cure team are doing.
I'll be hosting a fundraiser at her PeaceSpa for Endure To Cure on December 7 (details to come). We were discussing the event and brainstorming, and she said "why don't you have people sponsor by the feet?" I practically smacked myself on the forehead. In fact, I still have the metaphorical bump on my noggin' from that "Duh!" moment. My goal has been to raise $20,000. The mountain is 19,340 feet. Obvious? You'd think so...
Regardless, I'm now running with it. I've even created a little picture so you can see how far up the mountain I've gotten:
Soon I'll be listing people who've donated and how many feet they've helped me climb. I've also got a couple of big announcements soon: one is with details on the fundraiser, and the other will be unveiled next week!
