Don't let shorter hours at the gym or rooftop bbq parties stop you from hitting the mat this weekend. Here's a list of Memorial Day yoga classes to keep you focused and fit over the holiday.
If you're weekend is already full of people to see and places to go, get to CorePower Yoga Gold Coast for a free Yoga Sculpt class Saturday morning at 10:30am. This fusion workout combines yoga, interval training and a bit of cardio in a room heated up to 90 degrees, so you'll bust a sweat, get a good workout in and won't have to worry too much about overindulging on Monday.

There's no need to turn up the heat in Forrest Yoga. At Turbodog Spirit Center, you learn to use the breath to create internal heat, detox and help focus the mind while going through a challenging core-strengthening practice. Turbodog Spirit Center has one class every day through Memorial Day weekend. Check out the schedule here

All three Moksha locations have classes starting at 10am on Memorial Day and there's something for all levels. Advanced students shouldn't miss Sara Strother's level 2-3 Anusara-inspired class at Moksha Riverwest. Others can check out Tantric Vinyasa (also at Riverwest), Hatha Vinyasa at Lakeview and a Memorial Day Yoga class with live music at Logan Square.

Haven't had a chance to hit the beach yet this year? Grab your mat and join Infuse Yoga Spa for a free Yoga on the Beach class starting at 10:30am on Monday. Led by Infuse owner and instructor Andrea, the class meets at Fullerton beach and participants are encouraged to bring a bag lunch for a picnic after practice.
