Stretching at Work

New research suggests that sitting for long periods of time can lead to weight gain, heart attacks or even death, even if you're very active before or after getting into the chair. 

Working at an office for eight hours or more a day, this is a huge concern for me. Not only do I begin to get restless after awhile, I also too often catch myself slouching, with a tense neck and my shoulders up to my ears. 
To combat this unhealthy habit, I stand up and walk around as often as possible and I take a few deep breaths, neck rolls, gentle forward folds and do this free video or mp3 download featuring simple, easy office yoga moves.

 

The first up is Tara Stiles, yoga instructor, Huffington Post correspondent, model and Youtube star showing basic moves to stretch the wrists, get blood flowing in the legs and relieve lower back pain.
