With successful locations in Lakeview and Highland Park, the Bar Method is bringing their tightening, lifting and toning system to a new Loop location at 180 N. Wacker Dr.
Similar workouts, which incorporate isometric movements, sculpting moves, core work and deep stretches, are sweeping Chicago, but owners Catherine Wendel and Lis Settimi credit the success of the Bar Method, previously named best workout by Chicago Magazine to great teachers and a proven methodology. "The classes are structured in intervals to get the heart rate up and sustain it over a 60-minute class to promote the highest rate of fat burning," says Catherine. "In addition to that, all of our teachers have to be approved and evaluated by our founder, Burr Leonard, so there's a huge commitment to quality."

New clients can try the Bar Method for free by printing out this class pass. If you love it (and you likely will), go for the newbie special, 30 days of unlimited classes for just $100 ($225 value). Attend 3-5 times a week and by the end of the month, you'll begin to notice a firmer backside, tighter tummy and leaner muscles.

The new Bar Method location opens on Monday, October 19. Stop in for a class, which take place throughout the day starting at 6 am, and be entered to win an unlimited month pass.

The Bar Method is located at 180 N. Wacker Dr.
