Hossa signs 12-year deal with Hawks
The Chicago Blackhawks made a big splash today by signing unrestricted free agent Marian Hossa to a 12-year deal worth $5.2 million per season, according to TSN. The Slovak right-winger scored 40 goals last season for the rival Detroit Red Wings and he has played in the last two NHL Stanley Cup Finals.
@sigsegfalt was the first Chicagoan to tweet on the news, just seconds after tweets citing TSN confirmed it.
