Cubs fan pledges to go on hunger strike

His planned diet consists of a cup of fat-free yogurt, a single egg, and for dinner, some popcorn with a light sprinkling of brewer's yeast.

The resounding word to sum up the negative reaction was "idiot," and several skeptical Tweeters think Kamen will be hungry for a while:

Kamen will start his new diet in mid-July after the All-Star break, and in the meantime plans to eat as much pizza as possible.

Maybe he's hoping to have the same luck as this Yankees fan/blogger who vowed through Twitter she would go on a hunger strike until her team won. Fortunately for her, that didn't last.
