Revenge on Mitchell best served on scoreboard
It was just about a month ago when Vancouver defenseman
Willie Mitchell crushed Jonathan Toews, giving him a concussion and causing him to miss the Hawks next 6 games.
The Hawks have revenge on their minds tonight. When your captain is hit hard, whether the hit is clean or not, someone has to step up and defend him. Kris Versteeg tried, but hardly made a dent in the towering defenseman.
The fan in most of us wants retribution. We want Ben Eager to clean Mitchell's clock. Maybe give him a few stitches. Embarrass him in front of the Vancouver faithful. A good, old time hockey, knock down, drag out brawl. That's the idea right? Wrong.

The best approach for the Hawks is to whip the Canucks' ass on the
scoreboard. They just beat the Flames 7-1, and the Oilers 5-2. How
about a nice 6 goal performance? Bury the Canucks further in the
standings.
That's how you get revenge. Every point matters in the NHL. Take 2
from the Canucks tonight, and keep them out of the playoffs. Make them
watch from home this summer. That will hurt Willie Mitchell more than
any right hook from Ben Eager.
