A Video of Me In The Studio: Productivity in the face of exhaustion.

Two days ago, after getting some bad news about my granny's heath, I had to pull myself together so that I could handle the rest of my hectic schedule. I was taken shopping Tuesday for the photo shoot I had Wednesday night (more on the photo shoot later.)

I then wrote and recorded a hook for a group who are soon to be my label mates. I then went to a second studio to record a little buzz record that my friend Ruben suggested I do. The following day (Wedenesday) I had an interview at Vocalo.org, WBEZ 91.5, hung out downtown because my publicist had arranged for me to meet Jazzy Phe, then ran off to get my make up done before the 30 minute ride to the 3 hour long photo shoot. Yikes, right?

Needless to say... I'm tired. But I've been UBER productive. One awesome thing that came outta all the chaos is that I was invited to visit WGN Radio 720 this Saturday from 12:30 to 1pm! And I get to talk about WHATEVER I want! ChicagoNow Radio will never be the same. LOL. I hope you guys will tune in this weekend. Maybe I'll play music. Maybe I'll discuss fashion. Maybe I'll address the deep rooted iniquities of the music industry that sponsor a lack of creativity and an emphasis on image, making it a vapid cesspool of debauchery. Or maybe I'll just talk about cartoons. Ya never know.

The video below was shot in the vocal booth on Wednesday night. I wasn't expecting to be filmed at all. Don't I look like it?

I hardly look dog tired at all, right? Hahahhahahaha. The video was shot by my new friend R. Raven, he's an up and coming videographer who's worth getting to know. Shout out to my friend Pack of Billion Dollar Ballers for having me in the studio. It was fun :o) Enjoy.
