Anytime they keep score, you want to win. That goal wasn't accomplished on Saturday night versus the Buffalo Bills. I will try my best to never give an excuse or explanation for a loss.

At the end of the day it's pretty simple ... they won and we lost. I hate losing. It's a disgusting feeling. I will be miserable all week.

I can't wait for the next game. The New York Giants are coming to Chi-Town. It's thinned sliced vs deep dish pizza. (I will admit I do love thinned slice pizza and there is a great spot on Division and State downtown Chicago. I can't think of the name but it's a whole in the wall, great stuff) I'm from NY so there will be some added incentive for this game.

First things first, the Bills game. The first preseason game is always weird. You think you have been going full speed in practice but game tempo is ten times faster.

It takes a couple of snaps to realizes this is live action. In Saturday's game we did some "good" things, some "ok" things and some "not so good" things but to win a championship we have to do "great" things all the time.

The standard has to be at a championship level at all times. From meetings, to workouts, to practices, to preseason games, to real games, that's the bar.

Hopefully, we will take another step in that direction this week. There should be a vast improvement from the first and second preseason games. Starters will play more and we will spend a little more time on our opponent.

Still, the majority of the next few days, we will be focusing on the Chicago Bears and what we do. That's the preseason. It's about fine tuning, corrections, and self evaluations.

By the time the Giants roll into town we will have corrected the mistakes from the first game. Can't wait. Home crowd. Stadium packed with Crazed Bears fans.

There's no place like home. There's no place like home. There's no place like home.

Bear Down!!!

I guarantee you, you'll get more sacks if quit eating that weak thin crust pizza.

How do you see the defense getting back to a couple of years ago when you guys dominated? Preseason is Preseason but I agree with you, a lost is a lost. Last game was disgusting. I know we can do better and trust that everything will come together.
