I am convinced that black males are afraid of each other more than any law official (police. This young man (Derrion) was a honor student trying to become a sucessful future leader of society. Did it take the horrible beating of this teen for city leaders to wake up? Stop talking about what needs to be done and do something. Our black teens are diminishing quckly. Teen voilence is increasing by the moment. Create teen programs,educate parents, support groups, tougher laws on teen violence are just a few solutions. Don't let teen violence take over this great nation. We as parents, educators, and mentors need to instill values in our children before their teen-age years.
