Every once in a while you see a mugshot that just jumps out at you.
Meet 45-year old Alfred Benson.
According to this report, Mr. Benson completed his shopping at a south side Aldi, and then decided, on his way out of the store, to point a gun at a security guard. The guard responded properly and shot Mr. Benson. Mr. Benson was subsequently arrested and charged with aggravated assault and aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. My educated guess is that those are probably not Mr. Benson's first felony charges.
My question to you is this: do you think the guard identified Mr. Benson as a potential threat as soon as he saw him? I'll go out on a limb here and bet that he did.
Sometimes you CAN tell they're criminals just by looking at them
