Coffee addict. The serial single girl. Jessica will give you the what’s what on single life and dating in Chicago.

Last night I went to the premiere of Bailiwick Chicago's production of FUCKING MEN. I have to say I found it to be extremely sexy and entertaining with a whole lot of humor blended in.

Written by Joe DiPietro and directed by Tom Mullen, FUCKING MEN is an adaptation of Arthur Schnitzler's play, La Ronde. The play looks at the sex life of "the modern urban gay male" by portraying the life of ten different men from all types of backgrounds. Here you get a look into the life experiences of a variety of characters like "the hustler", "the solider", "the college kid", "the married couple", and so on.

All in all the play is definitely a must see for anyone and everyone. Well, that is for any and every adult out there as the play has a lot of adult themes and there is also a little bit of nudity.

You can catch FUCKING MEN on Fridays at 8:00pm, Saturdays at 7:00pm & 9:00pm, and Sundays at 7:00pm through July 25th. There will be no performance on Sunday, July 4. Individual tickets are $25.00 and group (6+) tickets are $20.00.

Call the Theatre Building/Stage 773 box office at (773) 327-5252, or visit www.FMenChicago.com for tickets.

I do feel that the play represents a lot of cliché ideas about the typical gay male and it would have been nice to see some of the non-cliché ideas but I definitely don't feel that deterred my love for the play at all. And then again Sex and the City showcased a whole lot of stereotypical ideas about the relationships of women and I was a huge fan of that as well.
