10 Restaurants to Try, April 2015

I always have a list of restaurants I want to visit. It ranges from upscale dining to a burger joint, and I wanted to share my most recent list for the month. The newest member of the group is Dinosaur BBQ, which debuted in Chicago this month, and sounds like it will be a great addition to Lincoln Park!

Duseks: An elegant bar, serving high-end pub grub in Pilsen.

River Roast: With a riverfront view and two bars, River Roast offers New American spin on British food.

Acadia: An upscale restaurant serving seasonal American dishes with a casual bar menu.

The Chop Shop: A restaurant and gourmet butcher shop serving quality meats, cheeses and wines.

Dinosaur BBQ: A New York-based chain, that just opened this week in Lincoln Park, has a beer garden and is now serving lunch and dinner.

Rural Society: An upscale Argentinean steakhouse located in Lowes Chicago Hotel.

Tete Charcuterie: West Loop’s creative charcuterie, starring cured meats, sausages and pates.

Good Stuff Eatery: A joint that serves American favorites with quality ingredients: burgers, fries, shakes, & salads.

The Kitchen: A community-based bistro serving local ingredients in a rustic setting.

Longman & Eagle: Hipster spot in Logan Square with farm-to-table fare and crafty cocktails.
