Classical music: Not Dead Yet

I found this grave in a cemetery over the weekend.

Mary was born the same year as Richard Strauss.  While no one lives to be 146, it was perfectly normal for Strauss to assume that his music would have such longevity.
Longevity is one thing, immortality another.  If we all lived forever, the world would get crowded very quickly.  It's the same thing for music.  I foresee a time coming soon when we start to bury some of the dead pieces to make way for the living.
I wonder in what year this grave stone started to be funny?
