The Disney Pixar film Inside Out comes out on June 19, and there's a lot of buzz about this movie that explores what goes inside the mind of a tween from the perspective of her emotions. It got great reviews after being shown at Cannes Film Festival last month.
Riley is an an 11-year-old girl who has just moved from Minnesota to San Francisco with her parents and she has five emotions at the control center in her brain: Joy, Sadness, Fear, Anger, and Disgust.
It's tag line is "A Major Emotion Picture." But how do you give voice to those emotions? You cast great actors who never appear on camera but who's voice alone does all the work.
See who are the voices behind the emotions in Inside Out:
Bonus: The character Fritz in the movie is voiced by John Ratzenberger. It wouldn't be a Pixar film without him!
Also providing voices are Kyle MacLachlan giving voice to Riley's father, and Diane Lane voicing her mother. Other voices that may sound very familiar when appearing in the film are by actors Richard Kind, Paula Poundstone, and Frank Oz.
