The Faith of Two Widows and My Daughter

Elijah asks the widow to make him a cake knowing she has very little for herself and her son and the widow in today's gospel gives her last mite.  Who does that?

My daughter apparently.

My daughter was on a CTA platform when she heard a man crying.  No one was paying attention to him.  She asked him what was wrong and he cried that he was hungry and needed something to eat.  Twenty-somethings travel light, so she gave him the little money she had and some candy.  It broke her heart not to be able to give him more, but I told her that her act of kindness may have provoked others to do the same.
