Can I Twitter and Learn New Mass Parts at the Same Time?

One of my colleagues here at ChicagoNow wrote about being an old person learning how to use "Twitter."  My kids are probably close to her age.

I've had a Twitter account since I first joined ChicagoNow, but never used it.  After going back and forth about it, I finally took the plunge.  Of course I have no idea what I'm doing.  But then I didn't know what I was doing when I first started blogging either.

I can still remember how terrified I was when I first started writing for ChicagoNow.  MovableType was so intimidating to me.  And Facebook?  I have to be on Facebook?  Then a few short months later, we moved to WordPress.  What?  I have to learn WordPress now?

My full-blown menopausal brain does not work that well to begin with and anything "new" leaks out of my ears when I tilt my head.  I really didn't want to add Twitter to my list of things I need to learn.  Okay, all you Catholics:  can you say NEW MASS PARTS?

It seems like forever that our choir has been practicing the new Mass Parts that will be implemented on the first Sunday of Advent, November 27.  We have already implemented everything but the Gloria of Mass of St Ann and we are working on Mass of Light (no link available yet) which we will do on the 27th.  Mass of St. Ann came easy to me.  I had a harder time with Mass of Light, but I'm finally getting the hang of it.

So I cautiously invite you to follow me on Twitter.  I set up the "widget" to your right of the screen right after my blog rolls.

And if the bird doesn't fly ... well, see you on FB!
