Inseparable: The Catholic Church and John Corapi

God so loved the world that he gave his only Son,
so that everyone who believes in him might not perish
but might have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world,
but that the world might be saved through him.
Whoever believes in him will not be condemned,
but whoever does not believe has already been condemned,
because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.  John 3:16-18

How many times have you heard or read that scripture?  How many times have you seen it on a placard or an athlete's person?  How many times have you made the sign of the cross:  Father, Son and Holy Spirit?  Inseparable.

Today, on what would have been the twentieth anniversary of his ordination, John Corapi is moving on.  His statement explains the whole muddled mess.  When I read it, I was shocked at the process or should I say the lack of a process.
John Corapi has decided to separate from his priestly duties in order to continue to broadcast on the radio and write.  He could put his life on hold and wait for an investigation that would take years, but he's decided not to and I can't say that I blame him.
Since this story broke, John Corapi's new Facebook page and his old Facebook page have exploded with opinions.  Some are calling him the devil himself and others are wishing him well.
But even in his statement he claims he still loves the Catholic church.
Inseparable.
