It's almost here. And if you're not prepared yet, get ready for Taste of Chicago 2017. From July 5 to July 9, Grant Park will be taken over by the best of Chicago food, along with arts, music, and family fun events. General admission is FREE, which means you'll have access to celebrity chef cooking demos, specialty drinks from some of Chicago's best bars like CH Distillery Cocktail Lounge, and live music performances throughout all the days.
The highlight of Taste of Chicago will be the Celebrity Chef Du Jour experience. It's the unbeatable, and ridiculously affordable, opportunity to have a private dining and interactive experience with some of the most notable chefs in Chicago. "As the City continues to enhance its reputation for our innovative and stellar culinary scene, we are committed to showcasing some of these food masters each day at the Taste of Chicago at Chef du Jour," reports Ann Hickey, Director of Program Development. The lineup is as follows:
- July 5 - Chef Paul Fehribach ($45)
- July 6 - Chef Chico Vilchez, DJ-X ($45)
- July 7 - Chef Oliver Poilevey Tribute To Jean-Claude Poilevey ($45)
- July 8 - American Girl Cafe Brunch ($30)
- July 9 - Chefs Beverly Kim And John Clark ($45)
In addition, this year's Taste of Chicago will also be hosting Sabor de Chicago, celebrating Chicago's Latino community with food, music, and more.
I'd say "don't miss it," but really, this incredible five-day lineup speaks for itself. See you there?
