You know what would be boring as hell? If I wrote a long ass blog venting about the recording industry right now. Most people don't want to hear anything about waiting on UPC codes or how much pressure you feel when you know that labels are looking, or how it sucks when people try to pigeon-hole your music or how wack it is when people you work with aren't doing their job. Nobody cares. You don't wanna know how the music gets made, you just wanna shake your butt to it or make out to it or do an aerobics class to it. So yeah. I won't vent about that.
Instead, I would like to talk about my road trip and what a pain in the ass it has been trying to plan it. It started out just being a little thing that my boy Nate and I were going to do to close out the summer. We were just gonna sell my cd's and bounce around the country for a month and hang out with fans and eat lots of carbs and...well, that was all that we had planned. But things are different now. No we have a tour manager and PR and stuff we're obligated to do and blah blah blah. It's becoming eerily similar to work. Now tension is kind of building up, and I have really only known Nate for a month (I have seen him 1 time in my life outside of Youtube.) It's kind of early for us to be getting on each other's nerves, but it's totally happening already. Don't worry. Me & Nate aren't gonna let the bad assness get sucked out of our road trip. Not yet, anyway.
The hardest part about this trip was narrowing down the cities we would visit. After we did a poll and found out where fans wanted us, the next logical step was to figure out the dates that we would hit each city, right? RIGHT?
WRONG. It was so tedious that i had to bring on a professional tour manager.
FAIL.
Let me be honest about something.
Nate is hot. There, I said it. He's a good looking dude. He's super funny and smart and all that other gushy crap. With that being said, I hope he won't take it the wrong way when I say sometimes he makes me wish he would stumble upon a black hole, slip through the event horizon, and get sucked into a parallel universe.
I mean that in the friendliest way possible.
Nate is one of those people who's attitude is just super, duper care free. Even if you're vexed at him. Even if you're practically at the point of screaming at him on the phone because he spaced out and forgot to send an important email. Nate just doesn't lose his cool, even when it seems like he should be loosing it. And then you end up feeling all bad because you're guilty of raisig your voice at the cute funny guy and shit. I hate those types of people. All of you blow chunks. Him and I are POLAR opposites. I am super high strung when it comes to business stuff and I can not stand having details go without being handled. And that get's on Nathan's nerves and makes him wish I'd go fall out of a tall tree or something. I bet he calls me bitchy when I'm not around. If you do, then screw you, Nate. Say it to my face, mofo. You know where to find me.
I think he intentionally does stuff to get on my nerves, too, not because he hates me and is trying to give me a gray hair, but mostly because it is a source of free entertainment. I'm not kidding, Nate totally screws with people just to entertain himself. And he is gona do it for the whole road trip, I just know it. If you don't believe me, check out what he admits to doing in the video below. Yup. Nate's a bit of a jerk. A funny jerk, but still.
Below you will find the cities we will be visiting and the dates we will be there. Since Nate and I can't agree on anything except for the fact that Edward Norton made the best Incredible Hulk EVER, it's up to you to suggest places where we can meet up and hang out after you buy a cd. And just know, if you show up to buy a cd, you WILL be filmed and may end up in the video. So yeah. Be ready for that.

I like doing stuff like shopping, going to the movies, hitting up carnivals, and other acts of foolishness. Nate likes to do painful shit like play paintball and ride bikes for long ass distances. So yeah... if you have a suggestion as to where we should meet and what we should do, click here to leave a comment on our Facebook forum. Otherwise Nate and i are going to have to figure it out.
And it won't be pretty. LoL.
