2011 Bears are better than last season's team

2011 Bears are better than last season's team
We’re at the half way point of the season and the Bears’ record is exactly what it was last season, 5-3. Although the Bears have the same record, this season’s team is better than they were last season. Improved Protection The improved play of the offensive line, is the primary reason for allowing Matt Forte... Read more »

Garza poised to lead the Bears O-line

With Olin Kreutz now gone to the Saints, the Bears are looking for a player to step in his place as one of the team’s leader. While I named a few Bears players that could naturally step into a leadership role, I didn’t mention Roberto Garza. From ChicagoBears.com, Garza talked about his opportunity: “Olin has... Who Will Step Up To Be The Leader Of The Bears' Locker Room?

Urlacher is a future Hall Of Famer and still one of the best in the game. He's been more vocal to the media and still the face of the franchise.
The Bears filled Olin Kreutz’s void by signing former Seahawks center, Chris Spencer. A player will have to step up to fill his void in the locker room. With a shortened offseason and new players signed through free agency, someone will have to keep the locker room in order.

New to the... Read more »

Bears are stacked with Pro Bowlers

A 6-time Pro Bowler, Kreutz is a little older but is still an undisputed leader and calls the shots on the offensive line.
I saw this post, Top Ten Bears Who Might Suck in 2010, by Matt Olsen, fellow ChicagoNow blogger and just had to write a response.  There’s a ton of pessimism these days about the Bears. Bears fans are sick of Jerry Angelo and Lovie Smith and they’re not happy about the winless preseason. Last time I checked,... Read more »

Public Enemy Number 1: Ndamukong Suh

I’m looking past the final preseason game against the Cleveland Browns because it won’t mean anything. The starters will probably play only one series, get the opportunity to rest up and mentally prepare for their season opener against the Detroit Lions. Attention Olin Kreutz, Roberto Garza, Lance Louis, Frank Omiyale and Chris Williams. Ndamukong Suh... Read more »
