Most teams recognize only three phases of the game -- offense, defense and the special teams. The Chicago Bears recognize the 4th Phase, the fans. Welcome to the 4th Phase Blog.
Who we are:
Ismael -- I've been told that I drink too much of the Kool Aid or that I'm a glass-half-full fan. When things are going bad, I don't get into doomsday scenarios. I'm the type of fan who believes every year is the year. There is no "wait until next year" until it is next year.
Other than being a die hard Bears fan, season ticket holder, and managing editor of the 4th Phase blog, I work in social media. I can be found on Twitter, BearsSTH. Tweets and blog posts are mine, not my employer, the Chicago Bears or the NFL.
Evan Rossler -- is a Bears fan living in New York. Many people wonder how this could be. “How could you have grown up rooting for the Jets and Giants to lose?” The answer, though simple, is often met with a raised eyebrow, “Tecmo Bowl”.
Some wonder why the man would root for a team based on a video game played at seven-years-old. Evan doesn’t wonder because it just makes sense.
He does wonder, however, what it feels like to take a helmet in the ribs while running a crossing route. But he hopes he never finds out.
Kyle Hendrick -- On Sunday you can find him me in one of two places -- watching the game on my couch or in the stands of Soldier field.
He's an overly competitive person who won’t sit down, loses his voice when cheering on the team, and someone who won’t leave the stadium until the clock hits 0:00.
In essence, he's an away team’s worst nightmare and the only thing he hates more than losing is the Green Bay Packers. Bear Down!
